PHOENIX, October 22, 2021 – Studio Ma, an internationally recognized architecture, environmental design and planning firm, has announced significant growth for its award-winning practice over the past year.

Despite challenging economic conditions faced by all businesses, Studio Ma has earned new projects with institutions including the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Overseas Building Operations, the University of New Mexico’s College of Fine Arts, Washington University in St. Louis, and De Pauw University. The firm has also begun an urban infill housing project in Phoenix, Arizona, self-developed in partnership with JAG Development. In addition, the new Fusion on First mixed-use arts and innovation hub for Arizona State University, designed by Studio Ma, was completed and opened on schedule.

To support this ongoing success, Studio Ma has invested in growing its leadership and design talent with new, diverse hires that include architects and designers Udit Goel, Whitney Voss, Craig Rosman, Andrew Lehman, Bobby Cannavino, Ryan Hughes and Zechariah Fung, and office manager Shelby Petersen. Studio Ma is strongly committed to increasing the number of female and minority professionals in both the firm and the architecture industry, and these new hires reflect progress towards that goal.

“Our new team members add to the holistic perspective and shared passion that guide Studio Ma’s work, deepening our expertise in essential areas. Together with progressive clients, we will continue to create sustainable architecture that provides everyone with equitable, healthy, joyful experiences.”
