Projecto Vitó

Honoring a Legacy While Designing the Next Chapter

Located on the island of Fogo in Cabo Verde, off the west coast of Africa, the project incorporates site-sourced earthen construction, with masonry units formed from local soil to reduce embodied carbon and reliance on imported materials. This approach grounds the building in its climate and context while supporting a more sustainable and resource-conscious construction process.
