Kaveri Singh, AIA, leads Studio Ma’s New York studio, bringing more than two decades of experience translating institutional goals into campus plans and built work. Her leadership deepens the firm’s educational and cultural practice, pairing longstanding client relationships and campus knowledge with Studio Ma’s attention to people, place, and ecology. A principal-led presence in New York brings the full studio’s planning and design expertise closer to clients and collaborators across the Northeast.

Before joining Studio Ma, Kaveri was a Higher Education Leader at DLR Group and practiced at Robert A.M. Stern Architects and PEI Architects. Her experience spans campus plans, academic buildings, housing, and student-life spaces for institutions including Bryn Mawr College, Bucknell University, Grand Valley State University, Harvard University, Marist University, and the University of Notre Dame. Across this work, she brings a nuanced understanding of institutional priorities to the design of spaces that support everyday campus life.
Through professional conferences, industry panels, university design reviews, and mentorship, Kaveri contributes to the broader conversation about student belonging, campus stewardship, and leadership in architecture. She has spoken at numerous conferences and forums, including events hosted by SCUP and Commercial Observer. She has served on design juries at Princeton University and the Parsons School of Design and mentored emerging practitioners through AIA New York’s Women in Architecture program. Kaveri holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Visual Art from Brown University. Connect with Kaveri.
