The first of its kind at a liberal arts college in the Midwest, and only one of four in the nation.
Studio Ma was selected to design the new School of Business and Leadership at DePauw University. The adaptive reuse of Harrison Hall, a three-story red brick structure constructed in 1938, will support the vision for developing a business program grounded in ethical leadership to prepare well-rounded leaders of all backgrounds with exceptional interpersonal, creative, communication and problem-solving abilities.
The building will serve as a hub for the entire university, where students on any career path can develop the skills to lead with values and purpose. Advancing President Lori White’s vision, the building will feature spaces that encourage collaboration and entrepreneurship including “Me” and “We” spaces of diverse types and scales, flex spaces for student-led events, and spaces for mentorship, leadership development, and collaborative meeting spaces.
