Studio Ma is beginning design and planning for Phase 1 of Culdesac’s Mesa Site 17, a new car-free residential community in the Phoenix region organized around walkability, shared courtyards, and access to transit. Set on a 25-acre site long marked by stalled redevelopment, the project reclaims the land through a model where streets are removed, movement shifts to foot and transit, and housing is arranged to support a more social and connected way of living.
